Why do I need to see a Dental Hygienist?
Your dental hygienist provides thorough oral assessments & preventative care treatments to provide optimal oral health & prevent gum/periodontal disease, tooth decay & infections that can often lead to more complex & costly procedures.

Maintaining a healthy smile is not only important for your oral health but it also vital for your overall health!

Your mouth is the entry point to your respiratory & digestive systems & your teeth are connected to your blood stream, if you have gum disease, tooth decay, or infection your mouth will contain harmful bacteria that can travel throughout your body & cause health concerns & disease.
Preventative care treatment will not only maintain your healthy smile but also prevent diseases & conditions such as: heart disease, stroke, diabetes, pneumonia, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, pre-term birth, cancer, Alzheimer's, & dementia.

Do you accept dental insurance?
YES! We accept dental insurance and can submit electronically for your convenience, provided it’s eligible with your insurance provider.
For the few companies that do not accept EDI we will send claims manually. If you have two dental plans we can submit these together to cover the entirety of your dental treatment.

We recommend you contact your insurance provider to find out what your dental plan covers. We can assist with estimates & pre-approvals upon request so there are no surprises at your visit. We will work with you to make sure you are making the most out of your dental plan!

Please provide us with your insurance information prior to appointment.

If I require to see a dentist for further treatment what is the referral process?
We provide a thorough dental hygiene assessment which includes screening for hard & soft tissue abnormalities, although unable to diagnose and treat we work closely with dentists & specialists and can recommend/refer to one in the area or contact one of the patient's choosing.

We provide a descriptive summary of our findings & follow up with the patient or office administrator to ensure that this referral has been received and contact has been made to assess concerns.

How often should I get my teeth cleaned?
The interval is dependent on client specific needs, we most commonly recommend every 3, 4, or 6 months.

At Bright Boutique we dedicate an area of our office for little ones that focuses on fun & interactive educational tools for children of all ages, as well as resources for caregivers.

Our goal is to provide positive dental visits for children to prevent dental fears/anxiety and promote motivation to continue to seek dental services as they grow.
