The idea behind Bright Boutique was inspired by incorporating my passions of health, wellness, and beauty into a "Dental Spa" and creating a relaxed, enhanced dental experience for my patients.
I am a proud Islander, raised in the West Prince region where my heart belongs, which is why I chose to bring my business to this location serving anyone looking to achieve a healthier, brighter smile!
I have always been interested in business and had a goal of owning/operating my own dental hygiene clinic where I could provide a relaxed, enhanced dental experience for my patients.

The formation of this business model began in early March 2023, when the College of Dental Hygienists Prince Edward Island was formed, and changes in provincial legislation granted self-regulation in the profession on Prince Edward Island. Across Canada self-regulation of the dental hygiene profession began in 1979, with Prince Edward Island being the last province to have this legislation approved. Self-regulation allows for Dental Hygienists to work independently of dentists and form their own clinics providing fully insurable dental hygiene services. This allows more accessible oral hygiene services to the people in our province.

Dental Hygienists seeking to work in independent practice must be a member of the the College of Dental Hygienists PE, in good standing, this is achieved by meeting requirements described in "The Regulated Health Professions Act" and governed by the College of Dental Hygienists Prince Edward Island. This ensures that all Dental Hygienists meet the standards of professionalism and provide safe, quality service to the residents of Prince Edward Island.
